It's not an easy road, when you're self-funding a business. We've learned that it is not for the feint hearted, as we've had lots of ups and downs over the years with both our Keystone Procurement business, and much more so, with Sluamor.

Sure we've grown from strength to strength on a year-to-year basis, but that's not always what it feels like day-in day-out. So, you can imagine how chuffed we were when Tanya received and conveyed the news, the week before Christmas, that she'd made it onto Phase 2 of the New Frontiers enrepreneurial development programme with Waterford Institute of Technology. It was a great Chrismast present to have received at the end of such a challenging year, especially since we'd been working very hard towards that goal for some time.

So, what does this mean for Sluamor? We're talking about access to experienced advisors and even funding. Over the next few months, the Enterprise Ireland backed programme will help us to scale our business to the next level and position ourselves for even more growth, so that we can open the door to investor funding offers and meet our target of 10,000 subscribers as quickly as possible.

As a result, over the next few months, as part of the programme, we'll be fine-tuning our value proposition and how we differentiate Sluamor as a business, as we grow our subscriber base and refine our solution to better support our subscribers.

Many thanks to the New Frontiers team at Waterford Institute of Technology and Enterprise Ireland for giving us the opportunity. We plan to leverage the information we accumulate on the programme to ensure that we expedite the success of our business.

Here's what Tanya had to say:

I'm really looking forward to learning from all the trainers and mentors, as well as the other founders on the programme who'll also be focused on improving their own startups. It's just a pity that we won't be able to meet in person for some time because of COVID19.

In helping us to better support you, we ask that that you Contact us if you have any thoughts on how we could better support you and/or your company. In addition, please let us know how we've helped you and your company thus far. We'd really love to hear from you.
