ISME uses Sluamor to source captive insurers

ISME, the Irish SME Association, is the largest independent trade association representing Irish small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
For the last five years, ISME has been lobbying for the legislative reform and has recently decided to determine if there are underwriters, insurance brokers and other insurance organiations who would be willing to assist ISME in putting in place one or more mutual or captive insurance undertakings to support its members.
We are delighted to share that ISME has chosen to use Sluamor to find operators for the scheme on their behalf. See their announcement here.
The aim is to form these insurance schemes on a sector-by-sector basis, where such insurance arrangements can be most readily formed, e.g., for the following sectors:
- Accounting
- Solicitors and Legal Services
- Equine Services
- Engineering services (multi-disciplinary)
- Childcare services
- Financial Services
- Food and Beverage Manufacture
- Information Technology and Services
- Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution
- Pharmaceutical Manufacture and Supply
- Nursing Homes
- Office Equipment and Supply
- Security Services
- Medical Practitioners
